Canada & Austria – 65 years of Politics, Economics & People
The panel discussion, “Canada & Austria – 65 years of Politics, Economics & People” was highly engaging. Our panelists Dr Ursula Moser, Professor emerita at the University of Innsbruck and Director of the Canadian Studies Centre, DDr Robert Zischg, Director (Americas) with the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs and Alexander Mathé, Editor at the Wiener Zeitung, shared their vast knowledge about the relationship between Austria and Canada. Similarities and differences were discussed and debated.
More than 75 members and guests enjoyed the discussion at the wonderful Alois Mock Saal at the Foreign Ministry. It was a very special evening, including a 60 cm long white cake emblazoned with the Austria – Canada 65 year logo.
We are very grateful to Ambassador Mark Bailey, the Embassy of Canada, and the Austrian Foreign Ministry for cooperating and co-hosting this event with us.
